How do I get to Groom Wars 2025?
Groom Wars 2025 will be held at Orewa Arts and Event Centre, which is located at Orewa College in Orewa, Auckland, New Zealand. If you’re flying in, the nearest airport is Auckland Airport.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes, there is plenty of on-site parking available at the venue through gate 1 (please refer to site map) Parking is free for attendees, vendors, and competitors. There is also free street parking.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, door sales will be available, but we highly recommend purchasing your tickets online ahead of time to ensure you get our online discount.
Are children allowed?
Absolutely! Groom Wars is a family-friendly event and children are welcome. Please keep an eye on your little ones at all times, especially around grooming areas and live animals.
Can I bring my dog to the event?
Unless you’re competing or have prior approval, we kindly ask that you do not bring your personal dog to the event. Only competing or working dogs (and their handlers) are allowed in designated areas. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, groomers, and animals.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes! A food vendor and refreshment stalls will be on-site.
Can I shop at the event?
Definitely! vendors will be on-site, offering exclusive event-only deals on grooming products, tools, and pet care items.
What if I want to meet the featured groomers or speakers?
Our international grooming superstars will be available for meet-and-greets, autograph sessions, and photo ops during scheduled times. Check the event program for more info.
Is this event just for groomers?
Not at all! While Groom Wars celebrates the grooming industry and features top professionals, the event is open to everyone — groomers, pet owners and dog enthusiasts alike.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and we are happy to accommodate additional accessibility needs — just reach out to us ahead of time.
